PartnerStack was named in all 6 of the 6 answers we measured for partner management software, the only product to reach 100% across every buyer question we asked.
On 2026-08-04 we put six buyer questions to ChatGPT and Gemini, let each run one live web search, and recorded every product they named and every source they cited. This page is built only from what those six answers actually said.
Kiflo PRM came second, named in 5 of the 6 answers (83%). It appeared in every question except "most affordable partner management software," where the assistants listed it under the shorter label "Kiflo" instead, so the same company shows up twice in our data under two names.
Impartner PRM was named in 4 of the 6 answers (67%), the only other product above the halfway mark. Like Kiflo, it also turned up once under a bare "Impartner" label, in the "what should I use" answer, which is exactly why we count labels rather than brands.
Three products tied at 3 of 6 answers (50%): LeadDyno, PartnerTap and Sprocket Rocket. All three clustered in the same three questions, the general "best," the "for small teams" and the "what should I use" answers, and none of them appeared in the free or the affordable questions at all.
Below them, Allbound, Referral Factory and Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) each landed in 2 of the 6 answers (33%). Everything else, 15 separate product labels, was named in exactly 1 of the 6 answers (17%), and that long tail is where the story is.
How the shortlist changed from question to question
The shortlist was never one list. Of the 24 product labels named across all six answers, 15 appeared in only a single question. Reword the buyer's question and roughly two thirds of the names change with it.
The bare "best partner management software" question produced no exclusives at all. All eight products it named, Salesforce PRM, Impartner PRM, PartnerStack, Kiflo PRM, PartnerTap, LeadDyno, Sprocket Rocket and Referral Factory, also showed up in at least one other answer. It is the safe consensus list, and nothing unique lives there.
"Best free partner management software" was the biggest disruptor. Five products appeared in that answer and nowhere else: ZINFI Unified Partner, Introw, PartnerPortal, Elioplus PRM and impact.com Affiliate & Creator, each named 1 of 6 times. The free framing pulled in an almost entirely different bench of names than the general question did.
"Most affordable partner management software" produced three exclusives of its own: JourneyBee, ZINFI Partner Sales Management, and Kiflo listed under that short label, each 1 of 6. The free set and the affordable set barely touch. Only PartnerStack and Impartner PRM appear in both, so "free" and "cheap" are plainly not the same question to these assistants.
The remaining questions each added names that appeared nowhere else. "For small teams" was the only place Introw PRM and PartnerPortal.io surfaced (1 of 6 each). "What should I use" was the only home for Impact.com and the bare "Impartner" label (1 of 6 each). And "partner management software recommendations" was the only answer to name Channeltivity, Channext and Magentrix (1 of 6 each).
Where the answers came from
Sixteen domains fed the six answers. Three sat tied at the top, each cited in 5 of the 6 answers (83%): HubSpot's ecosystem directory (ecosystem.hubspot.com), Reddit (reddit.com) and Salesforce (salesforce.com).
Community threads carried real weight. Reddit was cited in 5 of 6 answers (83%) and Quora (quora.com) in 1 of 6 (17%). When a buyer asks an assistant for the best partner software, a Reddit thread is one of the pages read back to them most often.
Review directories showed up, but not the full set. G2 (g2.com) and Gartner (gartner.com) were each cited in 4 of the 6 answers (67%), and GoodFirms (goodfirms.co) in 1 of 6 (17%). Capterra did not appear in a single answer. If a Capterra profile has been your main third-party proof, it earned nothing in this measurement.
The pattern that matters most is vendors feeding their own products into the answers. Six of the sixteen source domains were vendors' own sites, and every one of those six vendors was also named as a product: partnerstack.com (cited 2 of 6), impartner.com (3 of 6), zinfi.com (4 of 6), kiflo.com (1 of 6), partnerportal.io (2 of 6) and salesforce.com (5 of 6). PartnerStack is the clearest case: its own domain fed 2 answers and it was named in all 6. Publishing your own comparison and category content is not vanity here, it is a direct line into the answer.
Being cited is not the same as being named, though. PartnerFleet (partnerfleet.io) was cited in 3 of 6 answers, and Mindmatrix (mindmatrix.net), CRO Club (croclub.com) and monday.com in 1 of 6 each, yet Mindmatrix and monday.com were never named as products themselves. A page can feed an answer without putting its own brand in it.
What we would do if we sold partner management software
If we ran marketing at one of these companies, the lesson is narrow and a little uncomfortable: across the six answers, market share did not decide who got named, the source list did. The assistants named whoever the pages they read named, and nothing else.
So the job is to be present in these exact sources. In this measurement that is a short, concrete list: the HubSpot ecosystem directory, Reddit and Quora threads, G2 and Gartner, PartnerFleet, and your own domain carrying the comparison content these assistants quote. Six of the sixteen source domains were vendor sites, so your own site is a realistic way in, not only third-party listings.
And because 15 of the 24 names came from a single question each, there is room lower down the ladder. If you are not in the consensus "best" answer yet, the "best free," "most affordable" and "recommendations" phrasings are where newer products actually broke through here, each surfaced names that appeared in no other answer.
The full list, counted
| Product | Named in | Share |
|---|---|---|
| PartnerStack | 6 of 6 | 100% |
| Kiflo PRM | 5 of 6 | 83% |
| Impartner PRM | 4 of 6 | 67% |
| LeadDyno | 3 of 6 | 50% |
| PartnerTap | 3 of 6 | 50% |
| Sprocket Rocket | 3 of 6 | 50% |
| Allbound | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| Referral Factory | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) | 2 of 6 | 33% |
A note on the counts: several brands were named under two different labels, and we have kept them as separate rows rather than merge them into a number the data does not show. Kiflo PRM (5 of 6) and Kiflo (1 of 6) are one company, as are Impartner PRM (4 of 6) and Impartner (1 of 6), Introw PRM and Introw, PartnerPortal.io and PartnerPortal, impact.com Affiliate & Creator and Impact.com, and ZINFI's two separate entries. The assistants are not consistent about how they write a product's name, which is itself worth knowing if you care how yours gets said.
Glotier does not sell partner management software, so we are correctly absent from all six of these answers. We did not measure ourselves into them and would not want to. But this exercise, six buyer questions, every product named, every source counted, is exactly what we run for a customer's own category. The check is free, needs no account, and takes about a minute.
