Three products, Clari, Gong, and Revenue Grid, were each named in all 6 of 6 answers when we asked ChatGPT and Gemini who makes the best revenue intelligence software. We ran this on 2026-08-04: six buyer questions, one live web search behind each answer, every product and every source domain written down. Nothing outscored those three, and the rest of the field dropped off fast.
Salesloft was the only near miss, named in 5 of 6 answers (83%). After that came 6sense and Tellius, tied at 4 of 6 (67%) each. So a marketing person in this category is looking at a clear top three that the assistants treat as automatic, one strong runner-up, and then a gap. If your product is not one of those six, you were named in 2 of 6 answers at best, which is where Apollo, People.ai, Revenue.io, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo all landed (33% each).
We reworded the question six ways and the top barely moved
The most useful part of this measurement is watching the shortlist react to the phrasing, because buyers do not all ask the same way. Clari, Gong, and Revenue Grid held at 6 of 6 no matter what we asked. The interesting movement happened underneath them.
The bare "best revenue intelligence software" question returned eight names and was the only wording to surface Aviso AI (1 of 6) and the exact label "Salesforce Revenue Intelligence" (1 of 6). Neither showed up anywhere else.
The "best free revenue intelligence software" question did not produce a cheaper list. It kept the premium incumbents, Clari, Gong, and Revenue Grid at 6 of 6, plus Salesloft, and simply added Apollo, People.ai, Revenue.io, and plain "Salesforce" to reach eight names. Apollo only ever appeared for "free" and for "small teams," never for the bare "best."
The "most affordable revenue intelligence software" question returned the shortest list of all, just six names: Gong, Clari, Revenue Grid, 6sense, Tellius, and Salesloft. Asking for affordable added no budget tool at all. It dropped the free-tier names and swapped in 6sense and Tellius (4 of 6 each overall), the same two that show up for small teams and for recommendations. "What revenue intelligence software should I use" was the only wording to name Omni and "Salesforce Sales Cloud" (1 of 6 each), and "revenue intelligence software recommendations" was the only one to name MaxIQ (1 of 6).
Read together, five products appeared in exactly one of the six questions: Aviso AI, Salesforce Revenue Intelligence, Omni, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and MaxIQ. Each of them is one phrasing away from never being seen at all.
Where the six answers came from
The answers leaned on a small set of pages. Four domains tied as the most cited, each feeding 5 of 6 answers: getmaxiq.com, pipeline.zoominfo.com, salesforce.com, and visdum.com. Behind them, four more fed 4 of 6 each: g2.com, landbase.com, oliv.ai, and salesloft.com.
Most of these are roundup and blog pages, not neutral referees. visdum.com and getmaxiq.com are company blogs running "best revenue intelligence software" listicles, and each was cited in 5 of 6 answers. landbase.com and oliv.ai played the same role at 4 of 6 each. That is where the named products actually come from.
On directories: G2 showed up, cited in 4 of 6 answers, and it was the only review directory that appeared. Capterra never did. Community threads were thin: Reddit was cited once (1 of 6), and Quora did not appear at all. So for revenue intelligence software these answers are built mostly on vendor and roundup blogs, with one review directory and a single Reddit link doing the rest.
The tell: vendors are citing their own pages
Here is the insight a vendor should not miss. Several of the most cited domains are the named products' own websites, and being your own source lined up with getting named. salesforce.com fed 5 of 6 answers and Salesforce was named in the results. salesloft.com fed 4 of 6 and Salesloft was named in 5 of 6, the tightest own-content-to-mention loop in the set. pipeline.zoominfo.com, ZoomInfo's own blog, fed 5 of 6 answers. Even the winners with a single self-citation, clari.com and revenuegrid.com at 1 of 6 each, were named in all 6 answers.
The counter-example makes the point sharper. visdum.com was cited in 5 of 6 answers but Visdum was never named as a product, and getmaxiq.com was cited in 5 of 6 while MaxIQ was named just once (1 of 6). Publishing the page that AI quotes is not the same as being the product AI recommends. The companies winning here do both: they are named inside other people's roundups, and they publish roundups of their own.
What we would do if we sold revenue intelligence software
We would stop thinking about market share and start thinking about that source list, because the source list is what decides who gets named. Concretely, we would get our product written into the exact pages the assistants keep quoting: the roundups on visdum.com, getmaxiq.com, landbase.com, and oliv.ai, each cited in 4 to 5 of 6 answers. We would make sure our G2 presence is real and current, since G2 was the one directory cited (4 of 6). And we would publish our own honest comparison page, the move that is clearly working for Salesforce, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo, whose own domains sit among the top four sources.
None of that needs the biggest budget in the category. It needs being present, by name, in eight or nine specific URLs. A vendor with a great product and zero presence in those pages was invisible in this measurement, and a vendor cited five times but never named, like Visdum, proves that presence has to mean your name, not just your blog.
The full list, counted

| Salesloft | 5 of 6 | 83% |
| 6sense | 4 of 6 | 67% |
| Tellius | 4 of 6 | 67% |
| Apollo | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| People.ai | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| Revenue.io | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| Salesforce | 2 of 6 | 33% |
| ZoomInfo | 2 of 6 | 33% |

We keep Salesforce's three labels on separate rows, "Salesforce" (2 of 6), "Salesforce Revenue Intelligence" (1 of 6), and "Salesforce Sales Cloud" (1 of 6), rather than summing them into a single Salesforce figure the measurement never produced. Three more products, Aviso AI, MaxIQ, and Omni, each scored 1 of 6 and sit just off this table.
Glotier does not sell revenue intelligence software, so we are correctly absent from all six of these answers, and we would never fake our way into a list we do not belong in. But the measurement above is exactly the thing Glotier runs for a category you do sell in: the six buyer questions, the products named, and the domains behind them. If you want to see where your own product stands with ChatGPT and Gemini, the check is free, takes about a minute, and needs no account.
