Wise Agent was the most-named real estate CRM in our test, appearing in 4 of the 6 answers ChatGPT and Gemini gave when we asked them to recommend one. We ran this on 2026-08-03: six questions a buyer would actually type, one live web search each, with every product and every source domain recorded. No other tool matched Wise Agent's 4. Three tied for second at 3 of 6 each: Follow Up Boss, IXACT Contact, and Zoho CRM.
Here is the catch a single leaderboard hides. Wise Agent scored 4 of 6, but it was named in 0 of the 2 price-framed answers. It won "best real estate crm", "best real estate crm for small teams", "what real estate crm should I use", and "real estate crm recommendations", then vanished completely from "best free real estate crm" and "most affordable real estate crm". Its lead lives entirely on the general questions.
The shortlist changed with every question
The six answers barely overlapped, and that is the real story. The bare "best real estate crm" question returned 8 names: Wise Agent, Lofty, Boldtrail, Agile CRM, IXACT Contact, BoomTown, Real Geeks, and Zoho CRM. The very next question, "best real estate crm for small teams", returned just 2: Wise Agent and Follow Up Boss. Same category, same assistants, same day, two lists that share only one product.
Two tools appeared in that bare "best" answer and nowhere else across the other five questions: Lofty and Boldtrail, each named 1 of 6. If you sell either, your entire visibility in this category currently rests on a single phrasing of the question.
The two price questions split into their own separate worlds. "best free real estate crm" named HubSpot Free CRM, Agile CRM, Zoho, and Freshsales, a set of 4. "most affordable real estate crm" named Follow Up Boss, HubSpot Free, IXACT Contact, LionDesk, and OnePageCRM, a set of 5. A shopper would treat "free" and "affordable" as the same request. The assistants did not: the two lists share no product except HubSpot, and even HubSpot appears under two different names, HubSpot Free CRM on the free question and HubSpot Free on the affordable one.
The single-question pattern runs deep. Freshsales was named only on the free question (1 of 6). OnePageCRM only on the affordable question (1 of 6). RealScout and monday.com only on "what real estate crm should I use" (1 of 6 each). Pipedrive only in "real estate crm recommendations" (1 of 6). In total, 10 of the 18 product names we recorded were named by just one of the six questions. Ask the category one way and you get a list, change three words and most of it turns over.
Breadth tracked how open-ended the question was. The two broadest prompts, "best real estate crm" and "real estate crm recommendations", each returned 8 names, while "best real estate crm for small teams" returned only 2. There is no single answer to lock down in this category, there are six, and they move with the wording.
Where the answers came from
Reddit was in the source list of all 6 answers. reddit.com was the single most-cited domain in the whole test, feeding 6 of 6 responses. If you want to know where these assistants form their real estate CRM opinions, they are reading forum threads first.
Community pages led the source list, and editorial roundups followed. Beyond reddit.com at 6 of 6, quora.com and facebook.com each fed 2 of 6 answers and youtube.com fed 2 of 6. The biggest editorial sources were housingwire.com at 4 of 6 and forbes.com at 3 of 6, with crm.org and zapier.com trailing at 1 of 6 each.
The most important source finding is about vendor domains. The winning product's own website was among the very top sources: wiseagent.com fed 4 of 6 answers, matching Wise Agent's 4-of-6 product score and tying housingwire.com as the second most-cited domain overall. The tool the assistants named most is also the tool whose own pages they read most. The same shape repeats smaller down the list: learn.realscout.com fed 3 of 6 answers, monday.com fed 2 of 6, and zoho.com, hubspot.com, and freshworks.com each fed 1 of 6, with monday.com, Zoho, HubSpot, and Freshsales all getting named somewhere in the six.
One category of source is missing entirely. G2 and Capterra did not appear in a single one of the 6 answers. Neither did Software Advice or TrustRadius. On this day, in this category, ChatGPT and Gemini built their picks from Reddit threads, a few press roundups, and vendors' own sites, not from the star-rating directories many software marketers spend the most on.
What this means if you sell a real estate CRM
The source list, not your market share, decided who got named. Wise Agent led at 4 of 6 because it was present in the exact places the assistants looked: Reddit, HousingWire, and its own domain, which alone fed 4 of 6 answers. Being present in the cited sources is close to the whole game.
That makes the work concrete. Get mentioned in the Reddit and Quora threads that surface for these searches, since reddit.com fed 6 of 6 answers and quora.com fed 2 of 6. Earn a place in the specific roundups the assistants actually pulled, housingwire.com at 4 of 6 and forbes.com at 3 of 6, rather than any directory you can find. And publish content on your own domain that answers these six questions plainly, because after Reddit the most-cited domain was a vendor's own site.
Treat the price questions as a separate campaign. The winner of the general questions, Wise Agent at 4 of 6, scored 0 of 2 once price entered the wording, where HubSpot, Freshsales, LionDesk, and OnePageCRM led instead. If your tool has a free or low-cost tier, that is a different fight with different sources, and you have to show up for it on purpose.
The full list, counted
Two brands were named under two labels each, so we show them exactly as the measurement recorded them instead of adding them up. Zoho was named as "Zoho CRM" 3 times and as plain "Zoho" once. HubSpot was named as "HubSpot Free CRM" once and "HubSpot Free" once. Merging either pair would invent a combined score the data never produced, so both stay on their own rows.

One honest note on us. Glotier does not sell a real estate CRM, so we are correctly absent from all 6 of these answers, and we would be worried if we were not. But this measurement is exactly what Glotier does for the categories our customers do sell in: we ask ChatGPT and Gemini the questions your buyers ask, record every product named and every source behind the answer, and track how that moves week to week. If you sell in this space, the same check on your own category is free, takes about a minute, and needs no account.
