Check it in a minute

See what ChatGPT actually says about your brand

You can find out today whether ChatGPT names your product when a buyer asks what to use, which competitors it names instead, and which pages it built the answer from. The check is free and needs no account. Watching it every day is $9.99.

Do not just ask ChatGPT about yourself

The obvious move, opening ChatGPT and asking 'what do you think of my brand', is the one that misleads you. A model asked directly about you is agreeable and will say something flattering to be helpful. That is not what a buyer sees.

What a buyer sees is the answer to a buying question: 'what is the best tool for X', asked with a live web search behind it. Your brand is either in that answer or it is not, and that is the only version worth measuring.

How to check it properly

Take the real question your buyer types, not your brand name. Run it as a live search the way an answer engine does. Then look for your name in the answer text itself, a literal check, not a model's opinion of whether you were mentioned. Finally, read the pages the answer was built from.

That last step is the one almost nobody does, and it is the only one that tells you what to do next. If the answer was assembled from three roundups and a Reddit thread and you are in none of them, that is your task, and it has nothing to do with your own website.

What to do when you are not named

Get into the pages ChatGPT actually retrieved for that question. That usually means the recurring best-of lists and the community threads where people compare options in your category, not another round of edits to your own homepage.

Then check again on a schedule, because a single reading is a snapshot and the whole point is whether the number moves. Being named takes time: our own measurement puts the first handful of ChatGPT citations at around two months of doing this consistently.

Questions people ask

How do I see what ChatGPT says about my brand?
Run a real buyer question through ChatGPT with a live search, and check whether your product appears in the answer and which sources it used. Glotier's free check does exactly this and shows you the source pages, so you see not just whether you were named but why the named products were.
Does ChatGPT even know my brand?
Whether it knows you from training and whether it names you in a live buying answer are two different things, and only the second one wins you a customer. The check that matters uses a live web search, so it reflects what a buyer would actually be told today.
How often does what ChatGPT says change?
Often enough that one check is not a measurement. The answer is reassembled from whatever pages are retrievable at that moment, and those pages change. That is why tracking beats a one-off audit: you want to see the direction, not a single frame.
Can I track what ChatGPT says automatically?
Yes. Glotier Fast runs the same check every day for one product on ChatGPT and Gemini, records whether you were named and by which, and writes up what it found. It is $9.99 a month, and the first check is free with no card.
